Cookie Policy
Last updated: 8 April 2026
1. Introduction
This Cookie Policy ("Policy") explains how Aradyne Limited LTD ("Aradyne", "we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on the PeakSpitz AIERP™ platform and the peakspitz.com website (collectively, the "Service"). This Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which provides further detail on how we process personal data. This Policy complies with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the "GDPR") and Directive 2002/58/EC as amended by Directive 2009/136/EC (the "ePrivacy Directive"), as transposed into the national law of the Republic of Cyprus and each EU/EEA Member State.
What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website or application. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, to provide information to site operators, and to enable certain features. Cookies may be "first-party" (set by the domain you are visiting) or "third-party" (set by a domain other than the one you are visiting). Cookies may be "session" cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent" cookies (retained until they expire or you delete them).
Legal Basis for Cookies
Under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive and GDPR Article 6(1)(a), we obtain your prior, informed, and freely given consent before placing any cookies on your device that are not strictly necessary for the provision of the Service. Analytics cookies are not activated until you have affirmatively consented. No pre-ticked boxes are used. Strictly necessary cookies are exempt from the consent requirement under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive because they are essential for the provision of the Service explicitly requested by the user.
Cookie Categories and Inventory
Category A: Strictly Necessary (No Consent Required) — These cookies are essential for the operation of the Service. They enable core functionality such as authentication, security, and session management.
Category B: Analytics (Consent Required) — These cookies help us understand how the Service is used, measure performance, and identify areas for improvement. They are only activated after you have given explicit consent.
Category C: Marketing / Advertising (Not Used) — Aradyne does not use marketing cookies, retargeting pixels, or advertising trackers. No Category C cookies are placed on your device.
Cookie Inventory
| Cookie | Type | Category | Duration | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| peakspitz_consent | First-party | Strictly Necessary | 1 year | Stores your cookie consent preferences and policy version |
| _ga | Third-party (Google) | Analytics | 2 years | Distinguishes unique users for Google Analytics |
| _gid | Third-party (Google) | Analytics | 24 hours | Distinguishes unique users (short-lived) |
| _ga_<ID> | Third-party (Google) | Analytics | 2 years | Maintains session state for Google Analytics |
| __stripe_sid | Third-party (Stripe) | Strictly Necessary | 30 minutes | Fraud prevention during payment processing |
| __stripe_mid | Third-party (Stripe) | Strictly Necessary | 1 year | Fraud prevention (device identification) |
Consent Mechanism
When you first visit the Service, a cookie consent banner is displayed with three equally prominent options: "Accept All", "Reject All", and "Manage Preferences". The "Reject All" button is displayed with equal visual prominence to the "Accept All" button. No dark patterns are used. If you select "Manage Preferences", you are presented with a settings panel listing each cookie category. Strictly Necessary cookies are pre-enabled and cannot be disabled. Analytics cookies are disabled by default and require affirmative selection. You are not required to accept non-essential cookies to access the Service. The Google Analytics 4 tracking script (gtag.js) is conditionally loaded and not executed until consent is given.
Revocation and Modification of Consent
A "Cookie Settings" link is permanently visible in the footer of every page. Clicking this link re-opens the consent settings panel, allowing you to change your choices at any time. If you withdraw consent for analytics cookies: (i) the GA4 tracking script is prevented from loading on subsequent page views; (ii) existing _ga, _gid, and _ga_ cookies are deleted from your device; and (iii) your updated consent choice is recorded. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. You may also manage cookies through your browser settings.
Consent Record-Keeping
For each consent event, Aradyne records: (i) a timestamp of the consent action (UTC); (ii) the version of this Cookie Policy in effect; (iii) the specific cookie categories accepted and rejected; (iv) the method of consent (Accept All, Reject All, or Manage Preferences); and (v) a pseudonymised session identifier (not the IP address). Consent records are stored server-side and retained for three (3) years after consent modification or expiry, for the purpose of demonstrating compliance.
Third-Party Cookies
Google Analytics 4 — If you consent to analytics cookies, the Service loads GA4 via the gtag.js script, which sets the _ga, _gid, and _ga_ cookies. Data collected includes pages visited, session duration, referral URL, device type, and browser type. IP anonymisation is enabled. Google Signals, User-ID, and data sharing for advertising are not enabled.
Stripe — The Service uses Stripe for payment processing. Stripe sets __stripe_sid and __stripe_mid cookies, classified as strictly necessary for secure payment processing and PCI DSS compliance. These are not used for analytics or advertising.
YouTube — If embedded videos are present, they use youtube-nocookie.com (privacy-enhanced mode), which does not set cookies unless the user plays the video.
Children
The Service is a B2B enterprise resource planning platform and is not directed at individuals under the age of 16. Under GDPR Article 8, parental consent is required for processing personal data of children under 16 in relation to information society services offered directly to a child. As the Service is offered to business subscribers and not directly to children, this requirement is not applicable in practice.
Changes to This Policy
Aradyne may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. If the cookie inventory changes or if the consent mechanism is modified, this Policy will be updated and the "Last Updated" date will be revised. Material changes will be communicated through the cookie consent banner, which will be re-displayed to all users when a new version takes effect.
